Pre-Matric Scholarship for ST Students (Class 9 & 10), Assam is an initiative of the Ministry of Tribal Affairs, Government of India to provide financial assistance to students studying in Class 9 and 10. This scheme aims to help ST students from economically weaker sections to reduce the rate of drop-outs during the transition from elementary to the secondary stage. The selected candidates will receive a scholarship and other grants.
